Bob Albrecht

Bob Albrecht is a Managing Director of North Hudson and has 54 years of energy experience. Prior to joining North Hudson, he served as a reservoir engineering consultant to Oz Management’s private equity energy team since 2015. In 1987, Mr. Albrecht formed Albrecht & Associates, Inc. (“AAI”), a Houston-based oil and gas Acquisition & Divestment firm and served as President for 27 years through the sale of AAI to Raymond James in 2013. During Mr. Albrecht’s tenure, AAI grew into one of the premier A&D companies, eventually representing sellers of over $10 billion of properties in more than 300 transactions. From 1984 to 1987, Mr. Albrecht served as a consultant to First Reserve Corporation (“First Reserve”), where he managed portfolio companies and sourced new E&P acquisitions. From 1998 to 2004, he also served on the Board of Advisors for several First Reserve funds. Earlier in his career, Mr. Albrecht served as a reservoir engineer at ARCO and as a founder and owner of two independent E&P companies. Mr. Albrecht received both a BS and MS in Petroleum Engineering from Stanford University.
